Cafe IVY (Shiraz)

Project Type: Brand Development, Social Media Content & Visual Storytelling
Role: Social Media Manager & Visual Producer

For this project, I wanted to capture the menu items in a way that felt real and inviting. Instead of a stiff studio look, I shot everything in the cafe’s actual environment to keep that authentic “afternoon at the cafe” vibe. The goal was to make the colors of the drinks pop while making sure they looked exactly like what a customer would get on their table

Technical Approach & Impact:

Captured with the Canon 5D Mark III using a 18-135mm lens.

Using one softbox and diffuser for lighting.

To get the colors of the drinks just right, I used a technique of capturing multiple exposures with different lighting setups for each shot. By blending these layers in post-production, I was able to show the true depth and vibrancy of the ingredients that a single shot often misses.

The Result: These visuals were used for Cafe IVY’s social media, leading to a huge boost in engagement. Most importantly, the cafe saw a 30% increase in foot traffic and orders for these specific menu items shortly after the photos went live.

Identified market positioning gaps through competitor research, helping shape the brand’s long-term digital strategy and creative direction.

Generated early-stage revenue directly through Instagram DM-based customer interaction and social-driven sales activity, contributing to the brand’s initial business growth.
