The film C’est la vie (This is Life) tells the story of a young writer named Yahya, who, in order to make money, resorts to stealing from passengers with the help of a crazy friend and a taxi. One day, a French-Iranian girl who has just arrived in Iran becomes his passenger on her way to a hotel. Along the way, the girl realizes that Yahya can speak French, and she becomes intrigued by him. However, when Yahya’s car breaks down, their plan to rob her encounters some unexpected difficulties.
This is my second short film, which presented several challenges, including filming inside a car and managing a bilingual script.
