In 2007, a nationwide operation was carried out by the police in Iran, targeting thugs and women who were not wearing the hijab. A group of sociology students from Shiraz University wanted to create a documentary about the public’s reaction to this police initiative. The interviews were conducted by the students themselves, while the editing and directing of the documentary were handled by me and Rouhollah Zare’ Mahzabieh. The documentary was created using interview footage, archival footage from Iranian national television, free copyright images, and images from the internet.
