Yahya Haddadi Exhibition
A few years ago, I had the opportunity to work on an exhibition project led by Yahya Haddadi, which aimed to create a completely new visual experience for the audience.
One of the ideas I developed and carried out was to extend part of a painting using a video projector, blending it so seamlessly that viewers wouldn’t notice which section was digital. At first, it would appear as a complete, traditional painting—until certain projected elements slowly came to life through animation.
Our goal was to offer audiences a fresh visual experience, merging the physical and the digital in a way that felt both subtle and surprising.
Unfortunately, the exhibition never took place due to the outbreak of COVID-19. However, we carried out extensive research and testing, which I’m sharing here through a series of images.
I hope that one day I’ll have the opportunity to bring this exciting project to life.
📷 In this post, I’m sharing a few images from those early experiments. I still hope to one day bring this exciting project to life.

preparation the first idea by basic models
The main idea in practice. So that the exhibition area is illuminated so that everyone can see their own shadow on the wall. But the actor’s shadow is created on the wall by the video projector. the actor’s shadow is like everyone’s shadow, but suddenly her shadow moves separately on the wall.
